My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.
Could be a rabbit trap, or a campfire that they forgot to burn. :-)
For me the sticks compete too hard with the background.

I think there may be a good photograph here, but it looks to me as if you've just missed it. As Marko indicates, the contrast between the subject and the background is too strong. As well, I'd like to see a wider version; something that situates the viewer in the vein of "One man-made object in the forest" or similar.
