Nice colors, tiberno, but the composition is off--the viewer is not sure what he is supposed to focus on. You probably need to go either wider or closer, and have a clear subject in mind. Hope that helps.

Thanks.
Well the thing here is that the image is as I wanted it and I can't see other way of doing it. It doesn't have a clear subject because I wanted to show the scene as a hole: the yellow in the top left; the tree silhouette cutting through the blue; the green trees in the right bottom and the tinny Moon occupying the empty space of blue above those trees. I see it more like an abstract painting where the thing is more about the balance of colors and textures rather than a clear subject.
I don't want to disregard your opinion at all; I appreciate it a lot. I just want to know if this makes you look at it in a different way.
Thanks for your help jabber!
I understand what you're saying, tiberno, and the picture does have some interesting elements. For me, though, it is not abstract enough to work as an abstraction (i.e., we can still recognize immediately that this is a picture of trees). If the picture makes you happy, though, ultimately that's all that matters. Keep shootin'.

Ok. I got it. I knew I liked it but wasn't quite shure if it was that good. Your comments were really helpful.
Thanks!
I like it. I understand what Jabber is saying too though. Maybe a good candidate for an Orton treatment?
The problem when I looked at it, was that my eye wandered all over, like an autofocus gone haywire. Which is pretty much what Jabber wrote. Welcome to the forum, Tiberno.
Thanks kurtdriver.
So it must have been cleaner. I should have a clear subject, right? But than how would I do it? Probably the problem is the idea from the beginning...
That's a little better, I think, but the moon is so small there. If it were me, I would make the picture about the trees rather than the moon. Or use a longer lens to magnify the moon.
P,S. I tried to leave a comment on your blog but clicking on the link didn't do anything. I quite liked Harmony and especially Striving for Life. Both very nice.
