It's a confusing photograph, both portrait and architectural neither being the main focus. If anything it tends to be more of a portrait. You need to refine what the image is about.

    Thanks Greg
I think I was a bit selfish to get everything in one photo.

Composition and lights are ok, but the image wuality is really bad, too much ' clarity' oversharpen, and jpeg quality is way too low

Very neat bridge! Composition I like..even got a car in the far end to give some size. I think the midday harshness of the light is what makes this hard on the eyes.

Definately a great subject to shoot!

    Thanks jlabel & Kat.
Indeed I am still not good on processing my images but still my main problem also is shooting in harsh african sun.

It would be a good idea to pick up a polarizing filter and possibly a neutral density filter as well. You may find it a little easier to deal with that sun.

    Thanks Iguanasan!
I would do that though such things are not the easy to get around here.

Imo, it would be more effective if it was cropped; just the left edge where the bridge is following out from the man, and the bottom edge with the stones. Also the subject seems a bit dark. I like this composition though. It seems a bit too sharpened also. Nice image however. Good work.
