    Default Piano Player

Was at the Music studio the other day and took a few shots of my daughter at the piano.

I did notice when I preview it here, it does look much lighter and a little less colour then when I view it in Photoshop.

Anyways let me know what you think.

    Thanks.

I like this shot. Exposure, colour and angle all work for me. I may have cropped the right side a bit more though.
The pose seems a bit off though. Don't people use 2 hands to play the piano?

I really like this shot. The composition, lighting and overall subject are excellent. I would however like to see the post walked back a bit; the skin smoothing is just a bit too extreme for my taste.

I like the feeling this one evokes. I think it's a great capture. I'd leave the space on the right but I think it would have been a bit nicer to have her complete right arm in the photo.

There isn't much to critique - I just love your foto. But Iguanasan ist right with the right arm - that would be better.

I would also like to see a little cropping on the right side and more arm on the left. I like the hint of reflection of her face on the front of the piano.

It work for me ..Very well done. I like the comp and the emotion. Print and frame

The right arm does not bother me. I know you were trying to go in tight.

    Well done

Thanks to all for their comments.
I was trying to keep the photo 8x10 as there where a number of other I had taken that day and they wanted the finished pics to be 8x10 in size. I may have sized this one different otherwise. I debated over cropping the arm or the end of the piano.
Thanks again to all. Great forum.....
BTW - Marco this is a usual pose for her when she is suppose to be practicing.

    Lovely photo.

If you have an original that you would prefer, I wouldn't crop but put a border around it to make it 8x10. I do that with most of my photos because I don't tend to shoot in 8x10 dimensions.

Very nice composition. I like the pose very much. Relaxed or maybe bored.
