I like the colors in the first one, but the composition of the second one makes it the best shot in my eye. Got a little something stuck on one of the petals, though.

The first one suffers from lack of sharpness anywhere in the photo but that 2nd one is very nice indeed. The top left of the 2nd shot has a large white that's a tad distracting and BF has mentioned the hair hanging off the petal already. Small things but these are things that strengthen or weaken an image.
The only things I'll add is to watch out for your background. IMO, the second photo has a green thing (leaf i would assume) that flows right into it's pistons. I find that distracts just a little bit.
I try to make sure when I shoot I don't do that..but it is definately harder than saying it!!
Very nice colors in these.
My new blog as of Nov/10

Ha - thank you for the english name of this wonderful fragile flower. I have had a lot this year - we call it "Akelei".
Your colours are really wonderful - and the others told you already about the lack of sharpness and the background distractions. So I only can say, that I am looking forward your next try :-).
I like the second one the best as it is sharper and shows of the flowers detail better. I have these growing in my garden and enjoy photographing them each season.
Columbine always reminds me of the song Ripplin' Waters by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
Blow like a bubble on a windy day
Start to flutter when I hear you say
That you feel to good to go away
And you make me feel fine
You've made my world a warmer place
By the sparkle of your diamond face
On a frayed spot, put a little lace
And you make me feel fine
Warm as the mountain sunshine
On the edge of the snow line
In a meadow of columbine
