    Default Terns in Flight...

Spent some time this evening down by the river trying to capture terns in flight. Wow...hard subject to photography! the are so beautiful to watch flying, super acrobatic and oh so very fast!
Not too sure I did well with this subject so let me have the brutal honesty and any suggestions for improvements would be most helpful....please and thanks...

Very hard to get good ones. Looks like you did well with that second shot.

Use Ai Focus (canon) or the equivalent if you have it where the camera continually refocuses on a moving object. Use high shutter speeds obviously and multi shot mode and hope one of the shots in each set you take is a winner
