So, after a few computer problems and a very important lesson in backing up pictures on external hard drives, I'm back =)

The first picture was taken right in the middle of the day. I really liked the shiny blue in this. And the second picture is mostly up for kicks and giggles because I took it at 1/6 of a second without a tripod and I'm surprised it didn't turn a big blurry mess. Thoughts?

Lol, to me, these things are ancient.

I think the selective colour works on the old Ford. A Model A I think? The boards seem to make what would be a boring side profile shot look a bit more interesting also.

That second shot is nice and sharp considering the shutter speed. Nice steady hands there Gem!

    Nostalgia was last month Gem

I like these too. I can see from the shadows of the door handles it was in the middle of the day. The colour in the first one is great.

I like the composition in the second one.

I hate to come in late and repeat what everyone else has already said about these two great photos.

I agree with what was said so far. 2nd shot might also look great as a sepia shot.

These were taken at a museum? Too bad you can't move things around a touch, put a picture on the wall, a pair of shoes on the floor, great grandma doing the laundry, something that would have added a sense that real people used these, as surely was once the case. As it is they look a little bit sterile, like, well, a museum display.

I like the first one. I think I would tone down the blue... Just my opinion though..

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Lol, yeah, they're little on the boring side to look at but at least all the technical stuff turned out all right =)

And, yeah, they were taken at a museum. I probably should have given a little bit of a back story. This was at Fort Edmonton Park, which I *think* is Canada's largest living museum? Or, so I've heard. They cover everything from the late 1800s up to the Depression in the 20s and 30s. They also have Canada's first Mosque there. And I definitely wasn't allowed to touch anything! In fact, the sign in the car window says exactly that, haha.

Scorpio_e, that's the blue the car was. I actually didn't do anything to this except crop, dodge and selective colour =)

    Thanks again, everyone!
