I like the Haiku and the colours. Too much sky in this shot for me, I think the image would be stronger with a good crop off the top.

I agree with the others about the crop too. Although you placed your 1/3s nicely visually the photo is out of balance. It appears bottom heavy. I like the subtle colours.

I'm not sure I like it better; now it looks like a close up of the straws which is not quite what I wanted to make.. oh well
Hmmmm I like the square crop better. The comp look much better !!!

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.
I like this crop much better. I might also try cropping all the way to the stalks though leaving maybe 1/4 inch.
