Dear friends,
These two flowers grew on the same stem. No wonder they dont always agree.
Please go ahead with your critiques, this help me understand. I am particularly interested in your opinion on "Focal point".
Thanks

I'm wondering if maybe you could have used a tripod and lowered the ISO? I find the noise in the image a bit distracting. I noticed that you used ISO 800. I really like the photo though.
Nice shot, I like the composition, but as Duane said, the noise in it is distracting. The top flower and the sun shining on it seems to be too bright. Imo I think if the front flower was in focus rather than those stems on the left it would make it more interesting, even if the stems and the front flower were in focus.
I can't see this noise they speak of. I agree the top flower is over-exposed a little. Shooting this at a smaller aperture (lower fstop) and then perhaps lightening if it needed afterwards might have been a better method. This would have created a deeper depth of field also which maybe would have managed to get more of the lead flower in focus.
Overall the composition is nice though.
