Is the car in the background still coming? Or is he afraid to get close after seeing how you drive?

no he was still coming

I, however, was parked so the shot was safe. I actually wanted the empty road in the mirror photo but twas not to be!

I really like the fact that a car is visible in the side view mirror. Nice shot.
