Guys, I really like this one. Looking at it, I feel good. Only adjustment made was to the exposition. There is certainly additional possibilities. Yours to tell.

BTW, this is from and old and partly decayed Tulipa. When looking through our eyes, it is not very nice and age shows a lot. In this frame, there is still a lot of life!

I hope you don’t mind if I post without a critique. I don’t feel comfortable doing so when I’m so new. I just wanted to comment on the fact that I really like this shot! The color is very eye catching and it seems (to my eye) to be in good focus. I really like the composition.

I too love the colour here but I'm not finding it sharp enough...
I notice the exposure is F32 at 1 second, was this taken outdoors or was there any draft at all if this was taken indoors?
Was there a vibration during the exposure? I'd expect this to look sharper at F32.

Thanks Marko, you are really Sharp, never misses one.

This was inside with a 60mm EF-S Macro lenses that received good report. I was on firm tripod. However, I did nothing in post processing and found out in DPP that I have sharpness at 0 and noise reuduction at 20. I still have trouble finding the significance of theses. This is from a new Canon T1i...

Using unsharp mask on Photoshop, this imrpove a bit as seen here:

However, I am always worried about overshparpening and tend to avoid it.

Your opinion? When could we see the impact of Oversharpening?

The second one is much better, and doesn't look over sharpened to me. Nice composition and colour.

This second shot is way better....but we never really figured out why it wasn't sharp to begin with.

Was there are fan on? A/C?
HOW did you focus - manually or AF - what exactly did you focus on?
All these factors could have added to the unsharpness.

The settings you refer to are how the camera deals with the image. Sharpness at 0 means that the image is not being sharpened in camera...but it should still have 'some' sharpness coming out of the camera if your focus was on and you exclude the factors listed above.

In terms of oversharpening in Post processing, to my eye it's just on the border.
