    Default Stairways

Hi, everyone. I need to choose between one of this photos, but I can't decide. I would like to know which you like the most (You can also tell me why you don't like any of them, if that's the case :P).

In case your curious, this in Casa da Música("Music's House") in Porto, Portugal.

    Thanks!

I think I like the 2nd photo. I like the persepctive of the stairs in this one and the landscape mode helps with that. I'm not a fan of tilted photos and don't think this scene needs it seeing as this is a strange construction anyhow.
I also like the 2nd person in this photo which shows where the person on the stairs is heading.

Hummm... I don't usually like tilted photos at all. But I really thought it would work here... Oh well, i'll just have to drive 200 miles one of these days to reshoot this.

Does it work better like this?

That would make it shot 1, which is my preferred shot. Like MA said it shows where the steps lead. I like the people in the shot.

    Yep ... in post 4 ... shot 1 now.

And HEY ... don't give up yet ... just because we didn't like it tilted doesn't mean someone else won't

I concur with the others. You had a real topsy turvy one posted in post 1 first shot this morning, right? Lol, it's been a long day. I prefer the one there now but I can see some merit in the previous one as well. A kind of Salvidor Dali meets Eschler sort of thing.

These are REALLY cool to my eye and I don't mind the tilt here at all because my eyes are enjoying the unconventional shapes that make up this shot. I like the exposure, composition (lines, shapes) and element of coolness here and so I'm nominating it as well.

In post 1, I like shot 1 the best as my eye follows the pathway of stairs and people nicely.

In post 4 I like shot 1 for the same reason.
    Hope that helps
