Wow! That's beautiful Raiven. The angle of view is much better on this one and the colours are nice and bold. The DOF is perfect. The shine on some of the petals is a little too bright. Do you have a polarizing lens? Or maybe there is a way to burn down the glare without making the area muddy.
cheers
Lovely Raiven...I really like the title too.

I like this too although EJC has a great eye for those highlights. I don't have a polarizing filter yet but can't wait to get one!

This is a very lovely lover, it also goes with the title, well done.
Thanks guys! I probably should have put a diffuser on the flash. I put this in Topaz Adjust which brought up the high lights even more but I like the overall texture created. This is how it it looked before Topaz Adjust.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
That's a great and sharp shot. I only can't decide, if I like the purple background....?
That second shot is great, raiven! Great comp!
