Great shot Chantelle. Could maybe have gone a stop more on the aperture to increase DOF to sharpen up his right ear. That's only a maybe because sometimes fur just looks soft. The important bits are nice and sharp.

Oh Come ON - Koala bears too? How can we compete with koala bears? and bright birds and frogs and snakes...LOL. VERY cute shot, eyes are quite sharp - Nice!

I love looking at the creatures you have down under. You and MA make this site interesting to check out every day to see what's next. By the way, I just watched the movie Australia the other day.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
I agree with Marko. There's no competition with cute, cuddly koala bears!

I still have my little original, real-fur,stuffed koala I got when I was 7 years old and my Dad went on a trip to Aus. "Fuzzy" as I named him, has barely any hair, no claws (the neighbour's boxer Nanny ripped them off the same year) but he is still around and kicking at 36 years old!
Thanks Chantellle, I just might go and give him a hug now!
Nice shot too btw!
