    Default Overboard

For those of you who followed along in my other thread, these shots were inspired by another one of the shots I displayed earlier. This time, I went a little far to get these. On the third deck, there is was a large window where you could look over the edge of the boat. I hung my torso over the edge of the boat and held my camera up against the edge of the boat in order to get a steady shot. If there was any on the boat, I would not be here today. It is by far the most risky shot I have ever taken. The first is the shot completely unedited. The second is straightened out and cropped. It is definitely a memory but am not sure if the shot is too great. The memory of taking the shot is what is ruining my perception of its true value so I need some input.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
