    Arrow Metamerisms

    Abstract

Metamerisms: circumstances for power distributions under different conditions. The efficacy of low-pressure sodium lamps to afford a color rendering index results in a metameric system of isomeric longitudes across a lateral condition. This polarization is revealed according to arability and calibration.

    Description

A polaroid taken with a mamiya rz67 of a low-pressure sodium lamp outside of CalArts.

The description is stale, forgive me. but, i guess i'm looking to broaden or rather elaborate on it but still hold a very concrete tone of voice. any suggestions?

If the goal is to be pedantic, go into a lot more detail about the light in the description.

In your abstract, I'd suggest maybe saying "spectral power distribution" instead of just "power distributions", for clarity.

    Unhappy

well metamerisms don't just occur when the light hit's the film, it also occurs when that film is scanned ((scanner as another power distribution)) and when it is reoutputted ((lol)) on the monitor ((another distribution))............ i mean iknow they all work with light but it's the source of that light and how it's interpreted that i'm more concerned with than the light itself.............

    at least i think.............................

oh and def not trying to be pedantic..............

From the image, abstract, and description, I thought you were just trying to show pictures of metamerisms, like the pictured reflection of the sodium light.

If the project is more about all of different metamerisms in the scene-to-final-image-process (meta-metamerisms?) then I didn't get that at all from the abstract.

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.
