I'd be curious to know what people think about this, especially how the colour looks on your monitors as well as anything else.
many thanks

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Nice photo, the colours look fine on all three of my monitors. Lots of texture and tones.
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
Thanks guys - I'd love to get more input from others especially on the colour.

The colours look fine on my monitor. The tails are black the wings are shades of grey and the heads and snow is white. I like the composition, and the reflections are cool. DOF is good too. At this resolution it is hard to tell, but parts of the breasts/heads look close to being blown out.

The colours look fine as long as those yellows are supposed to be dull and dirty looking.
There's a bit of over-exposure around the birds heads/faces and the bird on the left is a bit over on the body I think also perhaps. If you look in the puddle you can see what he could look like.
Maybe it is just me, but I have a really hard time looking at this photo because my eyes don't know where to look because of how the birds are positioned. There is no one single thing or subject unifying the photo, the birds are competing against each other my attention.
Yeah, colours are cool on my laptop too. Pretty much the same as what everyone else is saying.
