Canada should name one of these waterfalls after you. It would become Canada's largest tourist destination with thousands of photogs visiting every year, to try and copy what you have already done. Nice job Dwayne.
Dwayne Oaks Falls...
How about that one eh?

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Nice work as always Dwayne.
It's so hard to critique the photos you show us Dwayne ... they are usually so nice as they are.
To critique would be to nit pick most often.
But you have asked for critiques so I'll try ...
I can see a few overexposed sreas in the water that might have been saved with PP.
There's a lot of darkness and loss of detail in the shadows here (which frankly just plain works in this case anyhow) which could be dodged up a little or again saved in the PP you used. A more specific example might be the left side of frame about 3/4's of the way down ... you can just see some detail under the rock there but with some work we could see much more.
That's about it really, great composition, works great as B&W, the current light/shadow thing works regardless of all I just said, I like it very much.
What Michaelaw is to birds, you are to waterfalls Dwayne!

Thanks everyone for the kind words !!
MA-Yea that is about as much DR I can get out of the D80 with one
exposure (non HDR). That said I been using the dark shadows as part
of the mood and effect of the overall image in my work lately, so far
it seems to be working.
Take care,

you can almost hear the sound of water. is this the actual color, no pp?
if so, this is a very good example of black and white in color!
i've always wanted to have a collection of black and white subjects shot in color.
