    I really like this shot moinmoin. It might have been nice to have some light on the background, but it's still a good shot!

    It's a nice capture, but I think it would have been even stronger with the foreground elements in sharp focus. IMO, if you only have the DoF to have part of the image in focus, it's generally better to have the foreground focused and the background soft. I think in this case, the single bloom could have stood on it's own without the buds below.

    I love it. I even love the background fading into the darkness.
    Looking at the data it looks like your Tamron 90mm Macro lens?
    The f8 aperture I guess gave you about all the DOF you could without changing the composition and shooting more from the top which would have ruined the shot I think.
    I think it's great as it is!

    I like it, especially with the water. I would have darkened the background so it was on black, but that is just how I like my photos. Still it is a very nice composition.
