Nice DOF. I think a flash would have helped to freeze that drop in the first one. I might have framed the icicles a little to the left of center.

Nice job Casil. Icicles are pretty cliche in my book but I think you did a nice job here. I have always tried doing something like this but just haven't put much effort into it. BF has the right idea, using a flash would stop that water dead in its tracks. It would be nice to see where you go with this. Keep up the work. Its nice to see you progress as fast as you are.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. The middle shot in the last past is really cool. The water droplet is nearly perfect. Its too bad you couldnt get it just barely off the icicle. Good shot regardless.
