I was scared for a minute there MA. Thought you were going for one of those ripped pants shots again. If there is anything I have to say about this, its that she is too centered. Exposure is good, but doesn't motivate me like some of your other work. Was this taken with a P&S? Looks a little too fast and short dof to be a P&S.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Technically the image is fine, compositionally I agree, the subject is too centred, but overall I don't get much from it. Agree that it lacks the 'punch' of your other work.
It's DSLR JJ.
I just fired it off in a split second as I was crossing the creek and noticed LeANgel doing her thing there down stream from me. About a second or so later she had jumped down and was out of shot. I really gave no thought to composition other than getting her in frame.
What I liked about it myself was the almost 3d effect of the foliage in front of her and the rock in the background etc.
Thanks for the comments guys
i see what you mean with the 3rds effect - the foliage & rocks look great... maybe you shoulda given her a quick construction workers whistle to get her to look over her shoulder before you snapped the shutter, and that wouldve improved the overall scheme of things
That's exactly what LeAngel would do too!
She has two HUUUUUUGE brusies on her legs from last week where she slipped a leg between two rocks and then fell forward. I grabbed her pants and yanked back so her body weight didn't snap her leg. Thankfully the bruise was the only damage.
