The first one I named it : Diablo II (like the game from Blizzard Games)
and for the second one I don't have a name yet.
I'm not crazy about the second as it seems 'confused'. I like the lines and shapes in the shot but the market sign at the top grabs too much attention and takes away from the nice geometry. For me the geometry is the most interesting element in the shot.
Shot one on the other hand is very graphic and very striking. I'm not crazy about the clipped backlight though. For me it compromises the shot and acts as a distraction.

Like Marko, the 2nd shot doesn't grab me. I can see the interest in it but again the big Market Q kinda spoils it. Might bea nice challenge for you to find a pleasing angle/shot of this stairway though.
The 1st is instantly appealing. Maybe offsetting the subject a little might have better.
I'm ok with the clipped whites on this occassion. I find they help to really show how bright the scene was. I though I'd have had less of the water (therefore lessening the clipped whites effect) and more of the foreground.
In the end though I like it, again a shadow/light photo grabs me.
