A VERY interesting set of self-portraits. Well done. The eye in post 3 - there's an eye (albeit softish) that sings . And the bathroom shot...despite the subject matter lol - different, creative and interesting

Thought I better take a moment to give you some serious critique now that I'm back from therapy and been helped to comes to terms with your last photo in this series

Shot 1 - Cool idea. Can't say it grabs in any way other than that though. Perhaps if the camera wasn't visible?
Shot 2 - The concept here is a winner for me. The snake helping out is cool. Not sure on the filter you've applied. Makes you look dirty. I think a better filter could have been used or simply gone with the original colour shot.
Shot 3 - Another good concept I think. I don't think the lighting is very good here though. Too harsh up top I guess. I'm thinking more aperture and a light on the floor shooting up your back to create some backlighting might be the go. Just a guess.

Shot 1- Yet again I like this concept. A lonely figure looking out at the glow of a distant city and the stars overhead. That much works for me. The light though doesn't. You may have been able to actually hold a light in front of you to backlight yourself or get a mate to fire your flash from the side perhaps?
Shot 2- Moody and it works. Nice shot.
Shot 3- At first glance ... yuk. But then I look closer wondering why you put up what appears at first to be an out of focus, crappy shot when I know you can do so much better. And then I see reflections. We are looking at a flection I guess are we? If so, again, nice concept but think you can pull this one off better.
Post 3
Shot 1- A selective colour shot done well I reckon. Nice.
Shot 2- Camping and camo ... does nothing for me. Bags in the right of frame are distractions and so is the dirt bank at the front. I think you missed a good opportunity here by not going in much closer on this same angle of view. I think that would used the blue of the tent to help highlight the reflection in the sunglasses which is where the real shot is in this case I think.
Shot 3- Oh crap (pardon the pun) but here we are in your bathroom again. This is cleverly done and the filter treatment works well I think. A man on a toilet just turns me off though, not that a naked man in front of a mirror does much more for that matter. I reckon having the 2nd person lying on the bed and the 1st standing at a mirror or window might lift this concept further. As far as how you've presented though ... I like.
Excuse me now while make another appointment with a therapist!
Promise you this is it. It really bothered me not having the shaving part in there. I took the liberty of reshooting this today and came up with the second version. I think its much better, although a little more detailed....

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
Hmmm..where's your magazine.. :P
I guess I missed some MAJOR details huh? haha I can reshoot this all over again if you guys request it? :-) haha

Requested it?? I'd have requested you shot it with the lens cap on!!
Seriously I like the first one much better. Not just the angle, but the filter treatment as well.
