Same as the previous image. I really like the concept. For some reason the space above is just too much. I think I would crop it down to just above her head. Not too tight, but close. I want my attention to be focused on her eyes and not the space around her, unless that is what you were going for. Really good effort and thought. Keep up the work. These are just our opinions, its an art, not a science.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

I haven't had the chance to do photos like this. I can't wait to try!
I have a friend on facebook that does fashion shots all the time. I remember he critiqued a photo once, much like this and it made sense to me.

I think her front arm doesn't look natural with her body flow. I think, I would also like to see her chin, a bit of space and then her shoulders. I'm picturing it in my head but maybe that is where it should stay.

That is a wonderful gift and moment shared between the two of you. If anything..that makes the photo wonderful!

I like it better than the first. Nice job on the crop. The colors look two tone. Kind of bluish on the skin..Not sure if you meant it to be this way or there were conflicting color temperatures in the light sources. I would recommend going with a black and white conversion..just my opinion..

    Happy valentines day !!!

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.

thanks guys! i've tweaked this one a bit too - just cropped a little off the top like you suggested jj, thanks for that! looks better... and as for the tones & temp of the lighting, i just worked with what i had - natural sunlight through slatted blinds. im too inept to use spotlights, reflectors or meters just yet... :P and i also agree scorpio - a b&w conversion would look good on this one... thanks again - i think this will make me post another!
