    Default Evening clouds

I saw these altocumulus clouds out my back window and the sky begining to turn. With a dash I grabbed my camera, tripod and said a quick "taking a photo" to my husband, and flew out the back door. They were moving pretty fast and I know how it would be gone before long.

I wish I could of had a bit more land in the photo but without getting in the car and taking off...it would of been ugly sheds instead.

Any tips to help this out if possible?

Oh..and I guess I should maybe mention..I used to be a weather observer and have a thing for clouds!

It looks HDR-ish. The composition of this image is great. Just wondering if the PP was a bit too much. It is a really good picture, but it is hard to speak on this picture without seeing the original. Just scrolling through the page, I might try and crop out ground and leave just the tops of the trees. There are almost two seperate pictures here. A top half and then a bottom half. Again, these are just my thoughts on it. In either case, it is a good image. Good job again.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

Love the composition, and agree the clouds are way cool. Hate the treatment though. But then I'm not a fan of photos that are still photos but are treated to look unreal in appearance, so perhaps that's just me.

Did you take a landscape version as well?

Yes..it is HDR. I did use a treatment on Lightroom. I can't remember the name of it..it's under the cyan treatment I think (I don't have it installed anymore). I'd have to do some searching but the original photos (diff exposure of course). I'll have to dig them out and post an original.
