I applied the Ethereal Glow Filter that Barefoot mentioned in another thread to this photo. It already had a nice depth to it I thought but the filter really made it more so.
Thoughts on this one?

I applied the Ethereal Glow Filter that Barefoot mentioned in another thread to this photo. It already had a nice depth to it I thought but the filter really made it more so.
Thoughts on this one?
I VERY mush like the composition here...but I'm not fond of shots of the backs of people unless from that perspective mood is added to the photo (wedding couples - older people etc.)
That is not the case here and IMO this shot would be stronger if we could see some of your daughter's face. Maybe from the side pensively leaning over the rail...?

It was one of those shots you see in a moment while walking along and just whip the camera up and snap it off before the moment has passed.
I don't mind photos of people from behind, it's a view we don't often see in photography. I have a photo of a kangaroo I took that looks nice to me for the same reason.
