    Default The Great Court

    I'm currently working at the Universtity of Queensland right next to what they call the 'Great Court' which is a huge marble looking building/structure that surrounds a large grassed area. At a guess it would be about 500m around if you were walking through the arched walkway that circumnavigates the grassed area.
    I liked the orange glow I saw from the lights so I went in early one morning at 5am to give me 45mins to shoot and captured these shots ...

    #1. The only suggestion I have for it is to maybe cut off the right side a bit more. It actually kind of looks tilted.

    #2. I like this shot the best! Love how the columns on the left hand side turned out! Looks very pretty

    #3. Maybe a little less tree?

    I should have used the distort feature in PS and straightened it.

    They were my guide to how I composed this ... that and the light above the door.

    This was just a snapshot to show my wife what attracted me to the the idea of shooting this area. I just loved that orange glow. That one certainly could be composed better.
