    Default Tips advice?

    So as some of you may know I jumped full force into digital photography with my very first camera purchase ( yes camera not SLR ) and i went out and bought a Sony Alpha 200 DSLR ( yes not a canon or nikon lol ) and I have collected some of my favorite shots so far and would like to know if A they are any good and B could you tell me how I could improve them thanks





    Note: all these pics ware taken with a tripod and the kit lens at the Griffith observatory ( amazing place ) in Hollywood CA

    In my opinion ... they are both great ... the first one is sensational! Nice. Obviously nothing wrong with a Sony DSLR.

    I love the first one. Maybe burn the horizon a little bit to reduce the amount of light pollution and glow from the city. Keep that great blue to dark transition though. See if you can just burn out a little of the orange... it might look a little better, not sure though.


    I have a Sony a200 too. I also have a Nikon. Nothing wrong with the Sony. For the price, I think it is the best entry level DSLR on the market, hands down.

    Very nice - you have a good eye! I prefer the second of the two, because I like these kind of abstract-ish pics. Very clean, and nicely composed. Good job!
