This is an image I did just before Christmas. We had one of those beautiful yellow/orange moons and it inspired me after taking a photo of it.
Does this sort of thing appeal to anyone here?
I like the shot - To me it looks much more like graphic design than straight photography but I like it.

I'm much more interested in images that are completely photographic in content but I was bored for an hour or two and played with a couple of images.
Doesn't do much for me, I'm afraid. Perhaps if you'd spelt "solace" correctly...
I don't really like the bird but the moon looks cool!
I have plenty of photos of the moon as well from that night of course ... just thought I'd play with the image a bit. I reckon, like this thread, I've had about a 50% ratio of for and against it with non photographers I've shown.
