Just thoughts or opinions. I wish I could have stopped him from grinning but I couldn't and it kind of distracts me, anyone else's thoughts?

I like it. Might be a frag too much shadow around his eye there. I don't mind the grin at all.
Thanks you may be right about the shadow but I will see how it turns out.

I guess it depends on your point of view. Honestly, I like the grin but then I'm generally a happy person and prefer to see happy photos most of the time.
I really like how the dark behind the face makes it pop. Nice shot
