My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.

Maybe I am just in a rut, but I am racking my brain trying to find ways to simplify the subject. I took this image from my bathroom window, with a 55-200 lens, I think, at 200, I wonder if maybe I should scrap and try again? This particular branch stood out to me, from that angle, because the branches around it had already lost most of their foliage.

I like the DoF, the colour and comp. I don't, however, like the frame.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.

The frame was just something from the snapseed app...the pics was quick-edited and uploaded from there...
