    Hi OM.

I like the shades of orange and blue in the sky. I'm less sure about the bright white area. As it is the brightest area it attracts my attention but so does the house roof so I can't choose a focal point. If it was in your control a welcoming porch light or a light in a room would present the house as a haven from approaching darkness if the house is the focus. If the sunset is the focus I would darken the white area. Too bad the birds weren’t closer they could have been a point of interest.
    I hope this helps

A good attempt and the colours are wonderful but overall for me it's too dark.
Nearly 1/2 of the photo is pure black. This photo, the way it is now would likely have been stronger if there was more detail in the foreground (taken 15 minutes earlier) OR if only a small element was silhouetted against the sky.
(instead of a mass of black)
You could try cropping into the bottom by 40-50% - that might help as well.
    Hope that helps
