I like this shot but I think my wife likes it better than I do...I wonder why?
Ok seriously - very interesting shroom with a very colourful head.
The background here is also quite colourful so I might try to desaturate the background a bit in order to make the foreground subject pop.
I'll stop now.

Thanks Marko, good points and noted on all. I hadn't actually done much of this 'in the field' macro work and it's tough when you've only got a 12" reflector and a single speedlight with you. I also had the wrong tripod, but it's definitely something I'll be doing more of.
The colour of the mushroom reminds me of an egg Uh, nothing else to say other than that A very interesting looking mushroom though!
