Liked this one enough to try and get rid of the blown out bushes and wanted to get some opinions on if it looks good or not.

Looks well done to me. Not a bad shot at all.
Huge improvement I reckon.
The only thing I can see not quite well done is the bushes in the lower right corner. There's a bright strip up the timber leg that looks like it should be dark. Possibly it's correct and we can see see past the bush though.
looks good
Shot 2 looks more realistic than shot 1, but for me, shot 1 has a better mood, it's more mysterious.

Shot #2 seems to have a reduced contrast. Which program did you use? I know that in Lightroom 3, you can work selectively on specific parts of the image (like the bushes you were talking about). I would choose shot #1, generally. But the trees and bushes look much better in shot #2!

Thanks for the comments y'all.
Kevin, I used PS to fix it. Still trying to get good with the brushes in LR, I seem to mess up more than I fix so far.
MA, if I am looking at the same thing as you, that would be where that spot light is shining in the edge of the tree. Which is what blew out the bushes, those lights can probably been seen from the space station.
