    Welcome to the forum.

    Quick advice - crop
    -adjust exposure so faces are some what similarly exposed.

    Nice though!

    I'm going to be a little more direct than TT; a nice image, but not without some issues. As mentioned, the exposure is off, and while some of that can be recovered in post, it would be better to get it right in the camera. To do that, I would have gone with and off-camera flash mounted image left to provide illumination to the mother, and used a diffuser to soften the highlights on the child. Additionally, a shooting position slightly to the left of where you were would have allowed you to capture both faces rather than having part of the mother's face hidden by the child.

    Just my $00.02 worth - your mileage may vary.
