This is a discussion on Eagle Canyon, Ontario, Canada within the Critiques forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; Eagle Canyon, Ontario, Canada. Largest suspension bridge in Canada (600 ft.)...
It's a strong graphic image, not much to critique really. Oh, I suppose the sky might be slightly noisy, and the people could be closer to the left third, but it's nitpicking really. I normally don't go for borders but this one holds the image together nicely.
Nice composition here, I really like the pattern with the two big triangles. As thoughton points out the sky is rather noisy and kind of bland which comes from being under-exposed I think. A blue sky with some nice clouds floating by would make for a stronger image but one does not always get to choose the weather when they get an opportunity to photograph a location.
Just adding to the other comments ... I think just brightening up the sky to a white rather than dull grey would help.
Thanks for the comments! the weather was awful that day, you can't see it on the photo, but strong winds and heavy rain A clear blue sky or even a rainbow would have been nice indeed...Next time!
