    Very nice image. Love the composition of this one, especially how the poles lead your eye to the sun rays; looks like a long exposure image with the use of a filter. Very well done!

    We are quite literally forced to follow the strong leading line here which is good.
    I do find the heavy darkness of the poles a little out of place with the tonal range of the rest of the photo. I wonder if more contrast or darkening the midtones would help. Perhaps this can be best achieved in the b&W conversion process. Still a nice photo though.

    Nice shot Taffy, the classic photo of receding groynes (ugh, sounds like some kind of disease). I think MA may have a point about the dark posts. I would also clone out that dark smudge in the top left corner. In fact a crop would accomplish the same thing, and might tighten up the composition. Perhaps 10% off the left and bottom?
