I think it is the hills in South Wales across the Bristol Channel that you can see that is making the horizon look wonky? - the tones of the sea and the hills are very similar

I think it is the hills in South Wales across the Bristol Channel that you can see that is making the horizon look wonky? - the tones of the sea and the hills are very similar

I don't really mind the expanse of sea in the original, but I slightly prefer Marko's crop. I also agree the horizon looks a bit tilted due to those hills, even though on closer inspection I don't think it is. The lack of detail in the wood doesn't bother me so much, but I might change my mind once I see the detailed version
I really like this image. Love the B&W treatment, the way it does seem to disappear, and the softness with the little bit of fog/mist on the water. Howeve, I do slightly perfer Markos crop.
