Nicely done; the use of a CPOL would have really enhanced the sky/cloud contrast, but the image as-is is very nice.
This is an okay image for me. There is nothing really wrong with it, but it's not super-compelling IMO.

I'm with Marko here... Nicely done...like the colors...but not sure what you want the viewer to see.

Hi Omhubbard,
In my opinion the image is struggling for a main subject. Part of that comes from the fact that the pillar is so dominant in the image and the background is also very sharp. Your viewer's eye wants to bounce back and forth.
It was a very sunny day and this allowed you to crank down the aperture to something like f/11 or even smaller and still maintain a good shutter speed for a hand held shot. But in this case, I would have tried to open the lens up as much as possible to blur the background and make the pillar the main subject. You would probably have to shoot at 1/2000 or 1/8000s but you would have a more interesting shot.

thanks to all that replied, i am looking for feedback, i took this pick while my point and shoot was on auto, bc then i had no idea what the things on manual did. thanks for the help
