I really like the 3 levels of colour and depth you've created with the sky, field and grass. If the sky was totally blue it would have been just that touch better I feel.
I'm trying to decide if I would have placed the pole there or not. I think I'd have framed it a bit closer to the left side of the photo myself.
This is a rather mundane subject made more interesting by the elements you've included and excluded. Nice.
I tend to agree with MA's thoughts on this one.
Thanks Iggy and MA for the comments. I got the same input from another forum. This is crop from a larger picture so I was able to move the pole over to the left. I agree with all on placing it to the left. This is a much better image than what it was. Thanks again!
nice changes Lorey! Much more powerful this way! (no pun intended, really :P)

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
I think the second one is much improved.
For me the second version is superior, you have the cable twist on one of the strong points of interest, the contrasting colours are excellent. I think this is one the would be better viewed larger than I can manage on my screen in the. Great work.

Thank you okmqaz42, Bambi, and asnow. okmqaz42, yes it does look nice larger. I have a 20 inch iMac and that is my desktop pic. Bambi, that's punny
