Beautiful images! Colour, definitely, for me.

The clouds are blown out in 2 but it's a gorgeous shot otherwise.

Welcome! Some interesting images, C&C per req:

1. This one appears just a trifle desaturated to me, and I think would benefit from some subtle levels/curves adjustments.

2. Better colours here, but the main part of the image is fighting the dark area, image right. I think perhaps this one might have been better shot with the wall positioned at the same level vertically, but farther to image right.

3, 4. I like both of these, but I think that the mono treatment suits it very well. The image is significantly overexposed however. Once the exposure of your colour image is corrected, I think you'll find the mono conversion has a much richer appearance. As it is, right now it's a little washed out.

5. I like this one; the focus is perfect, the exposure bang-on, and the colorus good. I also like the way you can follow the tree-trunk through the window. Nice touch.

Overall, they're a good set of images with minor issues. If you don't already own one, I would suggest looking into the purchase of a circular polarizing filter; that would take images such as these from good to great, and prevent things such as the blown clouds which are a significant distraction.

Hi Algonquin and Welcome!

First off you should know it's best to submit only 1 or 2 photos per thread.
You'll get much fuller critiques that way.

I really like the shot in post #2 - It's very interesting, has good exposure, colour and composition. It is by far the strongest image of the 5 posted. The second strongest shot is shot 1 but as T.I mentioned it's a bit flat or undersaturated - but it can be easily fixed.
