Looks overall a bit soft, could use some contrast. Like the colour in it, but may need a bit more saturation (at least on my display); like the general composition.

I agree with Matt that it's definitely looking soft/not quite in focus.
It's an interesting subject with those brick/pavers showing through but I find the composition and POV leaving the photo without any sort of interest itself. I'd suggest using a POV that shoots across the pavers/hole and shows us a bit more road ... even where the road leads perhaps? The yellow line could be used to lead our eyes away from the hole ... or even to it depending on your composition.
Thanks for your comments Matt K and MA. The shot was taken using my Xperia phone camera hence the quality. You've given me some great ideas so then next time I walk past it I'm going to take a few shots with my SLR and post one or two in this space. It's my first attempt at doing a fine art shot as usually my focus is landscapes but I always found this hole in the road was crying out for attention.
