I honestly find nothing to really critique at all. Your exif data says no for flash so I assume there was no fill light used which makes this a very good exposure in it's own right. Composition is good, background bokeh holds a bit of interest with that bridge. About the only thing I could say is the kid could look a bit more interested perhaps ... that would have lifted things a little.

This is a great natural portrait, the snow adds some natural fill light which is excellent.

Thanks, everyone. Yes, the small hill of snow to his right provided a wonderful natural reflector for the sun setting on his left. As for his expression, it's all attitude, of which, he has plenty![]()
