    Hey! This is my first post here :

    I'm having trouble deciding which crop works best for this picture, can anyone give me their opinion?

    For me the second one not only has more in the frame it is also balanced. The other two really do look cut off.

    I had trouble deciding between 1 and 2 ... but in the end I had the same reasoning as Andrew ... better balance ... but for me this is in shot 1. The main subjects (the word and trailer) are both on the left of shot in the 2nd photo so the 1st photo feels better balanced to me. I also don't think the tree adds anything to the shot in photo 2 but the small shadow of it in photo 1 makes a nice suggestion that it's there.

    same here. #1 appears balanced to be with the word and the truck bed. I only wish there were a bit more room under that tire. In terms of the overall feel, the punchy paint and harsh light seem harmonious and the bit of tree shadow isn't out of keeping. In the larger frames it doesn't fit the feel because now it overwhelms the simplicity of the brightly lit paint.
