Crystal Ball - Who's the fairest of them all ?

Was at the buskerfest in Toronto last weekend and got a picture of this performer with an act using crystal balls. I likes the reflection of himself in the ball.

Self comments (not much I could do about these except maybe 3.)
1. The crowds were so heavy that the closest I could get to the performer was maybe 30-40 meters away. Had to fully zoom in at the 250 mm limit of my lens. I was so far away I didn't even see the reflection till I processed it in Lightroom. This crop is probably 1/4 of the original image.

2. It was a very sunny day, harsh shadows. Too far away to use a flash. I did the best I could to bring out the shadows.

3. Not perfectly sharp. I guess I didn't get the focus bang on.

I still think that the picture works. Not a keeper but OK.

Certainly something to try again, if you have the opportunity. You can see that he's concentrating, so I think you caught the action. I don't know if my experience with the river during the midday would translate, but if it does I've found that spot metering helps, at least when dealing with bright skin and shiny surfaces.
