    I often shoot weddings and events, and all of them are indoors, so my usual settings are f/2,8 iso 400-800 and speed varies but its around 1/60s

    I kind of like the result, using it wide open usually removes the nuisance around the subject such as light switches or people peering from behind, also makes the flash power to be more efficient.

    My flash is always bounced with a white/silver cardboard atop the flash head with ev+1.
