I've been doing some black and white coloring lately, and here's what I came up with.
For me it's an interesting shot, but I find it's missing something. Maybe more of the background environment would have helped

Well here's the original picture. The backround isn't really that exciting though. Maybe I'll try some different effects in the backround and post them here.
I actually prefer the shot with the background as there is a context...but it's still missing something dynamic, something that makes you go wow, something that suggests a story...
maybe if a face was coming out of the flame...for me it's just a shot of fire and the image of the fire is lacking in ooomph if that makes sense..
