    Default Bride & Groom

A friend of mine was married this summer, and I got this shot of them on the dock after the ceremony. She is a heavier set girl, and this angle/pose was very flattering for her. I ended up printing & framing an 8x10 for her, and she was really happy with it. I know the eyes are not a part of the shot, but they were wearing sunglasses ayways.

It's a bit of a mind-messer isn't it. It's a combination of the fact that they're leaning slightly and the Kiley was below and shooting up.

I think this is a nice dramatic shot as well! I'd also have cropped off the top a bit.

thanks for the comments guys! i was not their hired photographer, so as she was standing on the dock with her camera on a tri-pod, taking shot after shot of straight on head & bust poses, i wandered back & forth along the shore line, getting different angles and other candids. that would account for the weird lopsided background. (they didnt notice luckily... only one of us would... )

    Nice.

The sunglasses detract from the shot IMO.

I like it how it is, I think the extra at the top makes the photo and cropping it would make it look not right, and I really never noticed the sunglasses until I read it in another post. Well done.

    Thanks again guys!
On the 8x10 I made up, the extra sky at the top did not look like it was too much - so I was content to keep it. I think because you have to scroll a little when it is sized this way on your screen, makes it seem like it needs to be cropped.
As for the sunglasses, it was an outdoor wedding, and the guys kept their sunglasses on during the ceremony & for the pics everyone took them off for some shots & put them on, for fun. The groom kept his on a lot, to hide his tear filled eyes I think...
