Default Advice re the new Canon EOS 5D MKIII

I have an EOS 5D MKII that generally I am very happy with. I got an email from Jessops a couple of weeks ago telling me about the new MKIII. Having looked at the description etc - Canon EOS 5D MKIII Digital SLR Camera - Jessops - Digital SLRs I was a little confused as to what the real killer feature of this camera is as it seems very similar to the MKII. I am no hardware expert so I would appreciate some thoughts on why the MKIII is such a great camera. I did find a manual this morning that I am going to plough through Canon EOS 5D Mark III manual is online for your perusal | The Verge but I would appreciate any thoughts. i.e. is it worth upgrading?

I follow Canon cameras as well. I'm no expert, but off the top of my head, with what I read, I would say that the newer 5D will have a much improved exposure system, as well as the auto focus system that will make a big difference if you do more than shoot portraits. The newer technology opens up many more options for more shots per second, and quicker and more accurate exposure and focus readings. Worth upgrading? If you are happy with your current camera, and like shooting full frame, I would stay where you are, wait a year and buy when the price drops. Then drool over the next latest and greatest. I'd say unless you really need any of the new functions then it is not worth the upgrade. If you have extra cash, spend it on a kick-butt lens.
