    Default Camera straps

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a comfortable camera strap for a novice user. I did a search on the forum to find black rapid recommended, but they seem a bit pricey. Do I have to pay that much? I was walking with my camera the other day & found it to b really uncomfortable with the original short strap. Any suggestions?

The Black Rapid straps are well worth the money, they are soooo comfortable to "wear". The old style neckstraps were not.

Make sure the part of the strap that rests on your neck or shoulder is wide and thick and it should be way more comfortable.
i agree, the default straps that come with the camera suck.

Haven't taken the plunge with Black Rapid yet either but I'm thinking about it. They're a bit pricey but I hear they are totally worth it. The other one I was looking at was this one: Custom SLR — Camera Split Strap

I don't have one yet but I've been looking at these. They look wide enough to be comfy but that's not why I'd buy one.
